Eucalyptus by the Beach
This is the newest addition to the Tree Portrait Series. I pass by this spot every morning on my way to the beach. These eucalyptus explode out of the sand at the top of the dunes, and their leaves form a wall against the prevailing winds. This scene is made more dramatic by the dark shadows contrasting with the morning sun. My eye always follows the path out to the bright clouds on the horizon.
