The fire chief jumps out of
his hot little truck. He says,
These will settle Sally's sniffles with just a little luck.
I've got sniffle pills, Doris, and you give them with WATER.
(For he fears baby fire-breathers more than the fathers!)
But Doris demurs, she is weary of cures.
What Sally needs is some soup and some sleep, not a pill.
Soup and sleep are a synergy that will stop Sally's sniffles!
In a minute they're over the hill.
